National Novel Writing Month involves writing 50,000 words in the month of November. 50,000 / 30 days = 1,667 words a day. Well, to be even more unnecessarily precise, 1,666.666666whatever. I haven't written anywhere near that.
I've written 5100 words since Tuesday, which is more or less what you're supposed to be doing. And I expect to write about another thousand words this afternoon. You can do it, Cally!
Why 1667 words? That seems like unnecessary precision.
